Offgrid Cabin - The Lodge
Situated conveniently near County Rd. 11, The Offgrid Cabin is a two-story, off-grid building that effortlessly blends comfort and adventure. The building boasts an expansive deck, wrapping around three sides to offer panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. It also features a quaint, upper-floor deck, perfect for intimate gatherings or solitary contemplation. Parking is ample, and a nearby fire pit adds a rustic charm. The deck provides generous space for seating, even allowing for outdoor slumbering if you’re inclined towards a night under the stars. With solar and propane amenities, The Lodge offers homely comforts in the heart of nature. Fresh water is regularly hauled in, eliminating any concerns of resorting to pond water for drinking.
The Offgrid Cabin’s interior possesses a warm and inviting ambiance with a wood burning Fireplace Stove. It boasts a well-equipped kitchen, complete with a propane fridge/freezer and a propane cooking stove. Adjoining the kitchen is the dining area and a cozy sitting area, making it the perfect setting for gathering and meals. The lodge features two private bedrooms, each with convenient access to the deck, and in-wall propane heaters for those chilly nights. Nestled between these bedrooms is a bathroom, ensuring comfort and privacy.
As you ascend the stairs to the second level, you’re greeted by a semi-open layout that offers a relaxing sitting area and an open space. This space is versatile and can comfortably accommodate two beds, extra gear, or sleeping bags. The upper deck can be accessed from here, providing a stunning view of the natural surroundings.
The second level also houses a bathroom, one or two single cot-sized rooms, and a storage closet. Adding to the charm of the Lodge, a petite wrap-around balcony overlooks the lower floor. This feature allows guests to admire the magnificent view through the windows, enhancing the overall rustic experience.
